Want to help some kids in need? You’ll have a chance during ISC West in Las Vegas in March.

Mission 500, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis, will hold a 5K race during the show. The run will start at 7:30 a.m. March 25. Runners will be able to register for a nominal $30 fee, with all net proceeds going to charity.

Mission 500 has already raised more than $115,000 from sponsors and supporters from the security industry. Only $1 per day helps feed, educate and cater to a needy child’s health care needs.

Deister Electronics
will be the time keeping sponsor; Altronix, HID, LRG Marketing Communications and Morse Watchmans have also committed to sponsoring the race. Mission 500 hopes to secure ten more sponsors.

Anyone interested in sponsoring and/or running in the Security 5K should contact George Fletcher at Mission 500. He can be reached at 305-321-3193 or pr@mission500.org. For more information, visit www.mission500.org.
