2006 Securing America Award Winners

The 16th annual Securing America Awards honor suppliers who provide the best Web sites, sales literature, manuals, marketing material, community outreach programs, and more. The mission of the awards, since their inception in 1990, is to sustain industry awareness and recognition of imaginative and high-quality marketing tools that present dealers, integrators and industry professionals at their best to end-users.

This year, nearly 50 entries in 13 categories competed for Securing America Awards and Merit Awards. The following companies’ pieces and programs were deemed the best in marketing material that the industry offers:

Best Outreach Materials Aimed at End-users, which Support Dealer/Integrator Sales

Merit Awards: First Alert Professional, Optex Inc.

Best Outreach Materials Aimed at Architects, Engineers, and Specifiers, which Support Dealer/Integrator Sales
Winner: Honeywell Security

Best Manual or Online Training Material for Residential End-Users
Winner: Panasonic Security Systems
