Supreme Security Systems, Union, N.J., is awarded a Five Diamond 100% Operator Certified Central Station certifictaion from the Central Station Alarm Association.

Supreme Security Systems, Union, N.J., an independent electronic security provider, has been awarded a “Five Diamond 100% Operator Certified Central Station” designation from the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA). CSAA awards this recognition to alarm companies that are committed to the highest training standards, which include ongoing professional development and standardization of training for all central station operators.

“We recognize and appreciate the value of the award,” said David Bitton, chief operating officer of Supreme Security Systems. “It’s something we’re very proud of.” According to Bitton, all of Supreme Security’s operators attended the extensive online training course, adding that new recruits benefited most.

Bitton believed the Five Diamond certification would benefit his company, but he had additional reasons for participating in the program. “For one thing, my father was a past president of CSAA,” Bitton said. He said the benefits were twofold: receiving training and an award. The 76-year-old company is now in its third generation.

The CSAA is a trade association representing providers, users, bureaus, and other agencies of UL-listed and/or FM-approved central station protection services. The Five Diamond designation is granted to those central monitoring stations that have 100 percent of their central station operators certified by the CSAA Central Station Operator Level I Online course or in conjunction with the SIA/APCO Train-the-Trainer course.
