Audio Video Interiors & Safety Technologies a Finalist in 5 Categories for CEA Awards

The Consumer Electronics Association announced its 2011 TechHome Mark of Excellence finalists. Audio Video Interiors submitted entries in five categories and has been named a finalist in each, the company stated.

The Mark of Excellence Awards program, presented by CEA’s TechHome Division, recognizes the best in home electronics products, services, and installed technology. Each year, manufacturers, distributors, and systems integrators enter to compete in award categories for this coveted honor judged by independent experts within the industry.

The Mark of Excellence Awards program culminates with the announcement of the winners at the Mark of Excellence Awards Presentation, held in the spring in Orlando, Fla. at the Orange County Convention Center. Categories the company entered include:

  • Retrofit Project of the Year over $100,000 category
  • Multi-Room Audio Video Project of the Year category
  • Home Theater/Media Room Project of the Year category
  • Luxury Home of the Year (installed price between $150,000 - $300,000) category
  • Training and Support Program of the Year category for Staff Professional Development and Industry Partner CEU Programs

Michael Pope, president of Audio Video Interiors and Safety Technologies, is proud of these nominations stating, “We believe that our dedication to training and certification result in this quality of work. In fact, one of the awards we are up for is in recognition of our training programs.” He added, “While not all projects are as demanding as those that receive national awards, we bring this level of expertise to every project we do, big or small.  It’s our people who make this happen.”
