Video Encoder Brings Benefits of Intelligent Network Video to Analog System

Video Encoder

Axis Communications introduced a new video encoder blade supporting high-performance H.264 with true multi-streaming and two-way audio support on each channel, enabling existing analog cameras to be integrated into a more powerful IP-based video surveillance system. The video encoder blade, which supports all types of analog video cameras, converts analog signals into digital streams that are subsequently sent over IP networks for viewing and recording on networked computers. AXIS Q7414 has four analog video channels as well as four bi-directional audio channels and can provide multiple, individually configurable video streams from each channel at full frame rate in all resolutions. AXIS Q7414 includes intelligent capabilities such as enhanced video motion detection and active tampering alarm as well as pan, tilt, zoom support on each individual channel.
