Powerline Control Systems Signs Strategic Alliance with Connectivity Company

Powerline Control Systems, the Northridge, Calif., manufacturer of PulseWorx lighting control for residential and light commercial applications, and inventor of universal powerline bus technology, entered into a strategic alliance with Jacksonville, Ore., Global Caché, an independent manufacturer of IP and Wi-Fi connectivity products for the control and automation market.

The partnership provides a platform for the two companies to share marketing opportunities and ensures seamless compatibility between products. PCS’ product, Mi LightStyle, a lighting control solution, is among the first PCS products made compatible with Global Caché products.

“Powerline Control Systems has grown quickly in the last few years,” said Scott Klodowski of PCS. “That growth is due to alliances with companies like Global Caché, one of the industry’s most trusted brands, which allow us to work together making separate products that work in tandem, benefitting the installer, the end user and both companies.” “This alliance seems about as natural as they come,” said Robin Ford, vice president of business development for Global Caché. “Both PCS and Global Caché are focused on creating products that provide installers with options in controlling home automation with network-based solutions. By providing them with easy, flexible integration of products, we’re ultimately providing the end user a system that matches their needs more perfectly.”
