Honeywell added a wireless router to its line of structured wiring solutions that can help security and custom electronics installers add IP cameras to the company’s Total Connect suite of remote security services. The QuickNetwork Wireless Router can be used as both a wireless and wired router, or as a wireless access point for IP cameras that transmit images digitally. The QuickNetwork Wireless Router’s structured enclosure simplifies integration in new construction and allows dealers to offer remote monitoring capabilities, even without a full-blown security system.
