Optex Inc., Booth 9039, and Milestone Systems, Booth 11705 – Thanks to a new partnership between the two companies, Optex perimeter security products will be fully integrated with Milestone XProtect Corporate and XProtect Enterprise IP video management platforms.

The Optex integration with the Xprotect platform will be accomplished through add-on Milestone device packs (available this summer) for Redscan Laser-Scan Detectors, PIE-1 PoE Alarm IP Encoders, Redwall SIP series Passive Infrared Detectors and Fiber Defender.

According to the companies, the combined solutions will enable more accurate and reliable video analytics, thereby reducing false alarms and creating a “more sophisticated perimeter detection” system.
