Gem Electronics Partners With PSA

PSA Security Network®, Westminster, Colo., added Gem Electronics as a vendor partner.

PSA Security now has access to Gem's full line of coaxial connectors and video baluns that all have been specifically designed to solve CCTV system's problems, the company stated. Bill Pitcher, vice president marketing/sales of Gem Electronics stated, “We feel that this partnership is founded on our mutual core business philosophies to always provide the best.”

Gem Electronics provides electrical and mechanical connectors and video baluns that will allow a CCTV system to operate at 100 percent efficiency, according to the company. The coax connector line includes the Twist-On, Crimp-Crimp Connector, as well as its New Universal and Uni-Crimp BNC products and a complete line of Compression RCA, BNC and F straight and angle plugs and straight jacks. The company said that the video balun line has as its core a new line of video/power/data baluns and hubs that will afford a substantially lower UTP system install compared to coax, thus making the analog CCTV system more desirable now, for future digital upgrade at a later date.

PSA's president and chief executive officer Bill Bozeman stated, “GEM has a unique offering of electro mechanical connectors that carry a strong guarantee and are very competitively priced. GEM also provides a detailed set of training videos that PSA integrators will find to be efficient and helpful. We welcome GEM to the PSA family.”
