ADI, Melville, N.Y., announced an agreement with Yale Locks & Hardware to offer its complete line of digital home locking solutions. Dealers across North America will now have access to the Yale Real LivingTM locks, including both touchscreen and keypad versions.

The Yale Real Living access control solutions are specifically designed to seamlessly integrate into the digital home. The locks offer one-touch residential access control of the home’s entryways and protected interior doors, even remotely through any web enabled device. Yale's new platform of intelligent locks support both Z-Wave® and ZigBee®, allowing them to integrate into a wide range of home control and security systems, including Honeywell’s Tuxedo TouchTM  Home Controller. With these digital home locking solutions, dealers can offer personalized scenes, privacy modes, scheduled users, remote control, history, convenient text or email messages from pre-programmed alerts and more.

“With their distribution capabilities, ADI can help expand the reach of Yale Real Living locks across North America,” said Jason Williams, general manager of Yale Residential, the division of Yale Locks & Hardware that produces the Real Living locks. “Given the increasing demand for the Yale Real Living locks, we needed to team up with a company like ADI to help us meet our distribution challenges. We are confident that with their numerous branch locations, knowledgeable sales team and marketing support, ADI can successfully deliver our products to the security market.”

The Yale Real Living locks being offered at ADI includes the full line of deadbolt locks. The locks come equipped with either a durable acrylic touchscreen or simple, elegant, tamper-resistant keypad and can be used on all standard interior and exterior doors. Available in a variety of finishes, the locking solutions blend in with any environment and are easy to use, install and program. In addition, ADI will also distribute the Yale Real Living touchscreen and keypad lever lock when they become available mid-year.

“As the digital home continues to emerge, Yale Real Living Locks provide a great addition to ADI’s product offering,” said Andy Morra, vice president of marketing at ADI. “With this technology, we are helping our dealers bring wireless access to residential home security and provide a solution that makes everyday living easier and safer.”
