Decoder Delivers Display Flexibility
Vicon Industries announced its VN-DECODER-2, a two-channel video decoder that adds flexibility to Vicon’s Virtual Matrix Display System. The new device is designed to provide a cost-effective way to support or add viewing stations that require only live video display, such as viewing building entrances from a reception desk. Each decoder can provide up to 64 video streams per monitor on up to two monitors. The VN-DECODER-2 supports 1080p resolution and features both DVI and HDMI output. It can be connected to a VGA monitor using an adapter.
