TeleEye GX680 Series is a range of four-, nine- and 16-channel HD DVRs, which are specifically designed for professional video surveillance applications. TeleEye announced that the functionalities of the GX680 HD DVRs are extended to work with Axis cameras.

In order to address the security issues of hackers, the GX680 HD DVRs are incorporated with hacker-resistant technology. With the five-layer protection, hackers are denied unauthorized access to video networks and data streams.

The resolutions of the GX680 HD DVRs’ streaming videos according to the display requirements are adjusted automatically to ensure both clear video on single screen display and seamless refreshing for displaying multiple cameras.

The DVRs adhere to the requirements of BS8418, a British CCTV standard, and provide additional features such as arm and disarm control, alarm inputs with tamper detection, power interruption and failure detection, and system detection. Additionally, they retain event and activity logs for a minimum of six months.

TeleEye provides many comprehensive and scalable solutions to meet different users’ requirements, including: sureSIGHT — a highly scalable design, suitable for live monitoring of multiple cameras simultaneously; sureGUARD — an event-driven video management platform, specifically designed for visual alarm verification applications; iView — mobile apps designed for checking distant premises on portable devices.

“As a pioneer in video surveillance technologies, TeleEye tends to have an open mind towards product development,” said Dr. Wallace Ma, executive director of TeleEye Group. “We have been working closely with Axis Communications and have joined the ADP program, obtaining firsthand information and support on the Axis camera development. Hence we can extend our GX680 HD DVRs to work seamlessly with Axis network camera.”
