ASSA ABLOY, a provider of door opening solutions, announced the integration of its door service router (DSR) 5.0 software with C•CURE 9000 v2.30 security management system from Software House, part of Tyco Security Products.

The DSR 5.0 integration offers Software House customers an easy, convenient way to integrate IP-enabled locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands with its existing C•CURE 9000 system. The DSR is software that translates commands from the access control system to locking hardware, reducing initial development time and providing an easy method of integration. The 5.0 release features expanded capacity and improved performance, increasing the security reach of customers that use this software.

“Our goal at Software House is to provide our customers with a well-rounded portfolio of cutting-edge technologies that give them a variety of options to build a total security solution for their business,” said Jason Ouellette, product line director – access control, Tyco Security Products. “By integrating ASSA ABLOY DSR Software with C•CURE 9000, we are providing our customers with a quick and easy solution that will allow them to expand their security reach using multiple types of electronic access control products.”

Martin Huddart, president, access and egress hardware group, ASSA ABLOY Americas, said, “The DSR 5.0 integration with C•CURE 9000 offers facilities a very powerful, flexible solution. Software House can offer customers even more options for securing their facility, with the ability to manage wired and wireless openings from the same application.”

ASSA ABLOY’s IP-enabled offering includes a broad range of Wi-Fi and PoE locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands CORBIN RUSSWIN and SARGENT.
