Supreme Security Systems Inc. of New Jersey has acquired CWR Security Systems Inc., a residential, commercial and industrial security company with more than 30 years of experience serving Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Together, Supreme and CWR offer more than 110 years of combined experience in the security industry. The merger will result in a wide array of new and innovative residential and commercial security solutions that expand Supreme’s reach even further into Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Supreme Security reported in a press release.

Barry Gulino, the former president of CWR, will be joining Supreme as senior account manager. Gulino brings expertise and a familiarity with Point Pleasant, Brick, Red Bank, Sea Bright and many other locations on the Jersey Shore to Supreme. In his new role with Supreme, Gulino will maintain and grow relationships with customers while pursuing growth opportunities.

“We are pleased to become a part of the Supreme family, a company like ours that has strong family values behind it,” Barry said. “The people at Supreme are dedicated, hardworking and have the good of the customer at the heart of their work.”

Steve Rubin of Davis Mergers and Acquisitions Group assisted Supreme Security Systems Inc. in their acquisition of CWR.

For former CWR customers, there will be no interruption in the alarm monitoring services provided and none of the changes associated with the transition will affect the operation of the alarm systems. Customers will continue to use the same pass code, cancel code and testing procedure. Additionally, CWR’s phone numbers can be used to contact Supreme.

Supreme reported it is very selective about the companies it acquires, and it is thrilled to find a company in CWR that has been so well run and well managed. The transition, Supreme said, will be a smooth one as the companies share a demand for excellence and an extreme respect for the customer.
