Speco Technologies released the next camera in its Speco Connect line of Wi-Fi solutions, the O2CP2 ― a 1080p H.265 Wi-Fi pan/tilt IP camera, which the company said is perfect for residential and small business applications. The O2CP2 features motorized pan and tilt capabilities for complete control and coverage. The Speco Connect cameras offer flexible recording options where users have the choice to record to SecureGuard VMS, edge recording to an onboard micro SD card, local PC recording through a Web browser, or recording to a Speco NVR or hybrid unit, eliminating the need for recurring monthly fees. When recording to Speco NVRs or hybrid units, the O2CP2 has the ability to be used in conjunction with Speco’s Wi-Fi access point, the APRPT, allowing the camera to connect to the recorder without affecting the existing local network bandwidth. Along with remote pan/tilt control, the O2CP2 also features easy setup through the Speco Connect mobile app.
