ADI Reaffirms Committment to Training

ADI last week expanded its training initiatives, adding a variety of new courses in IP, residential and commercial A/V and intrusion, among other subjects. The new classes are part of ADI’s efforts to help dealers discover new opportunities in the low-voltage market.

Teaming up with industry associations and vendors, ADI is offering a program that includes expo seminars, IP electronic systems networking technicians certification training and AXIS Communications IP training courses. Other offerings include a suite of courses provided by CEDIA and Electronic Security Association training classes, offered through the National Training School and including Level 1 Certification, burglar alarm, fire alarm, CCTV, access control and troubleshooting, NICET fire alarm training and FireLite Systems training courses. A selection of online courses is also available.

Other opportunities will be available to dealers at more than 35 expos to be held over the course of the year. Dealers will have a chance to participate in a range of training seminars covering products, marketing and business management. Thirteen “Extreme Expos” will offer an added focus on IP technologies.

ADI has always been a strong supporter of ESA’s National Training School training and certifications,” said Mike Miller, president of the ESA. “ADI branches frequently host NTS courses and teach hundreds of classes offering NTS continuing education units each year.”
