The Power-over-Ethernet capability lessens the expense and maintains surveillance even during power outages. The cameras include tri-streaming video technology – dual MPEG-4 and JPEG compression modes work independently and simultaneously. One dedicated MPEG-4 video stream can record at one frame rate while a second stream at a different frame rate allows live viewing while JPEG images stream to a PDA or central station.
