Samsung Advances Strategic Vision With New Access Control & Video Products at ASIS

Samsung Techwin America announced today at ASIS 2010 that it is reaffirming the goals of its Vision 2010 strategic business initiative to firmly establish Samsung as a comprehensive supplier of security systems including video surveillance and access control.

 

In addition to highlighting its line of megapixel, IP-based and analog video systems at ASIS 2010, the company is introducing several new video products and unveiling an extensive new access control product line. Samsung's new access control offerings provide professional-level system solutions which span a wide range of technologies including fingerprint, proximity/smart cards and keypads. On the video side, introductions include megapixel cameras, IP-based network cameras,

analog cameras and DVR/NVRs.

 

Samsung's in-booth presentation at ASIS 2010 highlight the unified Samsung platform that integrates video and access control solutions from Samsung with technology from other providers to deliver new levels of intelligent operation. To meet these goals, Samsung is actively working toward industry standardization with organizations such as ONVIF and PSIA. The booth presentation will also focus on how Samsung's products are used in the government, corporate, transportation, education and healthcare markets.
