Trade Show News

The ASIS International 52nd annual seminar and exhibits will be held Sept. 25-28, 2006 at the San Diego Convention Center. This year’s show will offer more than 150 high-quality, insightful education sessions of interest and importance to security practitioners of all experience levels.

Keynote speakers will include George Tenet, former CIA director; and Bob Dole, former Kansas senator. Sessions will cover the gamut of emerging issues and topics crucial to today's security management professionals — from counterterrorism and enterprise security to loss prevention and crisis management, to infrastructure protection. In each session, industry experts will relate their real-world experiences, triumphs and lessons learned and share their views on the political, social and technological trends that are redefining the security industry.

ASIS 2006 also will bring together more than 20,000 security professionals from around the world and across the industry, creating a unique networking opportunity through educational sessions, after-hours events such as the President's Reception, and on the tradeshow floor for the exchange of ideas, information and experiences.

ISC East will take place October 24-25, 2006 in New York, N.Y. at the Jacob Javits Center. Vendors include ASSA ABLOY, Bosch, DSC, Honeywell Security, IR Security & Safety, NAPCO Security Group, Panasonic, Pelco, and Tyco.

Since returning to New York City in 2004, ISC East has experienced two consecutive years of growth, bringing more than 9,100 security professionals together to sample the latest technology, identify the latest trends and gain insight and education on the issues that are facing the industry.

The 2006 ISC East event will be co-located with Reed Exhibitions’ leading event in the information security sector, Infosecurity NY. Offering both events under one roof will create the all-encompassing security event and will bring together the technologies and products that are shaping the future of both security segments.
