The event will take place at The Bridge Stage, Booth 20073, on the ISC West Show Floor beginning at 9:30 a.m. this morning.
At this event, SIA will announce and recognize the SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100 at a networking breakfast, sponsored by dormakaba, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at The Bridge Stage. New in 2022, this annual initiative presented by SIA’s Women in Security Forum will honor 100 women in the security industry who embody leadership, inspire others and shape and transform the industry and are role models for actively advancing diversity, inclusion and leadership in the community. Attendees will also enjoy premier networking with professionals across the security industry.
Following the breakfast and Power 100 celebration, SIA’s Women in Security Forum Keynote will begin and go until 11:00 a.m.
“The Human Side of Security” with Jenny Radcliffe will focus on how people are the weakest link in organizational security and how to bridge the gap between human and cybersecurity.
Radcliffe is a social engineer and “people hacker” — or a mix of shrewd behavioral scientist, master negotiator and actor. Known for talking her way into high-security banks and even the Tower of London, Radcliffe is a world-renowned coach, consultant and speaker who brings something different to meetings focused on culture, social intelligence, sales, negotiation and interpersonal relationships. She helps clients understand how to better read people and social cues, use subtle tactics of persuasion, open avenues of conversation previously shut and understand and shield against their own vulnerabilities.
What Is the Women in Security Forum?
The SIA Women in Security Forum is a community that offers programs, professional development opportunities, and networking and professional growth events with the goal of supporting the involvement of women in the security industry. The mission of the forum is to engage all security professionals to promote, recruit and cultivate the leadership of women for a more inclusive and diversified industry.
