Home » Canadian Co Pioneers Wireless Security Standards
Integrated Magnetics, Burnaby, British Columbia, will soon be one of a few manufacturers in Canada to integrate an encryption chip with a level of security approved by the Canadian Communications Security Establishment (CSE) and the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) into its wireless transmitters.
The application to approve the new TIMAC, an encryption micro-processor developed by Integrated Magnetics, was validated earlier this year by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) placing the company a step closer to the full approval.
