Vicon Industries Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., a manufacturer of video surveillance systems, was selected to provide video surveillance products for two new casinos of Cherokee Nation Enterprises (CNE), the retail, gaming, entertainment and hospitality segment of Cherokee Nation. CNE operates Oklahoma casinos in Catoosa, Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson, Sallisaw and Tahlequah, as well as convenience stores, retail tobacco shops, gift shops and two golf courses. The company also owns and operates Will Rogers Downs, a 236-acre horse racetrack just east of Claremore, Okla.

One of the company’s newest casinos in Tahlequah, Okla., includes a video surveillance system consisting of Vicon cameras, Kollectors DVRs and workstations. The system is operated and managed by ViconNet 3.0 software, which allows for control and interoperability of all components from anywhere within the network.
