National Training Center(NTC), Las Vegas, focuses on training for the low voltage industry. Charles Aulner, president of NTC, has built up a company that offers comprehensive live training courses across the country, as well as online training for at-your-convenience education.
Aulner, who is NICET Level IV certified, founded the company in 2002, after more than 10 years experience in the security industry.
“I had wanted to run my own business for quite some time. I love doing training, I love course development, and I love instructing. It seemed like a great fit,” said Aulner. “It is very important to us to provide the very best training we can possibly provide to the industry.”
NTC offers the following courses: NICET Level I and II Fire Alarm Systems; NICET Level III and IV Fire Alarm Systems; NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm (2002 Edition); IFC/IBC, International Codes; and CCTV System Design. New courses for 2007 include Security Systems training and Access Control Systems training. The courses are offered in online, live and Webinar formats.
“Training needs to be available in several different delivery methods,” Aulner said. “Online, live and Webinar training are all needed in the industry.”
Aulner says that NTC’s course offerings benefit low-voltage and systems integration professionals in technical, management and sales fields.
“Our courses are applicable for all those categories of personnel,” he adds.
On the company’s Web site, NTC also has available books and manuals covering everything from the National Fire Alarm Code to CCTV System Design.
