American Sentry Guard (ASG), Greenwood, Ind., manufacturer and distributor of professional-level digital video surveillance products, earned a spot on the 2006 Inc. 500 list, Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the 500 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. ASG was ranked 150 out of the 500 companies listed.

American Sentry Guard was founded in 1999, by father and son team, Jack and Jeff Brummett. It originally began as a residential and commercial security alarm service provider. Over the years, the company expanded its operations to include the manufacturing and distribution of video surveillance equipment to security dealers throughout the United States. The first major client acquired by American Sentry Guard was a local Indiana company, Gas America gas convenience stores. Since then, the company has continued to grow its client base to include several fortune 500 companies, casinos, the U.S. Military, Homeland Security, and small businesses coast to coast. The company has grown from four employees to more than 30 full-time employees during this time period and has achieved a 699 percent growth rate over the past three years.
