The Electronic Security Association announced plans to launch a new chartered chapter, the Electronic Security Association (ESA) of Florida. The national association said that ESA of Florida will focus on the top challenge of the electronic life safety and security industry in Florida — stimulating demand in the commercial, institutional, industrial, residential and governmental markets. A sustained program of media relations, online promotions and face-to-face networking events will generate inquiries for members and inform and educate prospective customers.
ESA said ESA of Florida will also provide high-quality technical and business education via the National Training School (NTS). NTS training will cover the full range of security technologies including video surveillance, access control, integrated systems and interactive services in addition to intrusion and fire alarm training. NTS currently has a list of courses approved by Florida state regulators for initial licensure and renewal, according to ESA.
