COPS Monitoring, Williamstown, N.J., the largest independently owned wholesale monitoring provider in the United States and winner of the 2014 CSAA Central Station of the Year award supports our returning veterans.
Veterans Coming Home, an initiative of public media dedicated to helping our returning military, stated that readjusting to civilian life can present significant stress. For many of the roughly 2.5 million service members transitioning out of the military, the changeover can often be filled with complicated and confusing challenges. Some feel isolated and alone. Some struggle to find or hold a job. Many returning servicemen and women report that they feel like they just don't fit in. Finding and connecting with the right support and services can be overwhelming. This struggle is described in a video produced by Veterans Coming Home and Nashville Public Television about returning veteran and COPS Dispatcher Gene Delgado. (http://bit.ly/WorkAfterWar)
