Honeywell announced the Smart Wireless Integrated Fire Technology (SWIFT) detectors and modules, capable of seamlessly integrating with new and existing fire alarm systems from Fire-Lite Alarms, Gamewell-FCI and NOTIFIER. Using a Class A, mesh network where every device acts as a repeater with redundant path communication, SWIFT systems are robust and self-healing. The devices are UL listed in compliance with UL 268, UL 864 and part 15 of the Federal Communications Commission rules. The initial launch of SWIFT devices will include photoelectric, photo/thermal, standard heat and rate-of-rise heat detectors, plus a monitor module.
