Para Systems Inc. released three new Minuteman Remote Power Managers. The RPM-EV6 series of products are IP-addressable managers that allow administrators and technicians to remotely control the power to connected servers, network equipment and security devices. The user can control power to each attached device using any standard Web browser. The interface also allows reboot scheduling, power start-up sequencing, plus extensive set-up, configuration, and security tools. With a built-in auto-ping feature, this tool can be programmed to send out automatic notifications warning administrators and users that a device has failed. The series includes three models: The eight-port RPM1581EV6, 24-port RPM30241EV6 and RPM30242EV6 all come standard with a 10-ft. power cord and the EV6 models have cUL, UL 60950-1 and CE certifications.
