Viking Electronics introduced the E-1600-ASTIPEWP and E-1600AST2IPEWP Tower Phones. These ADA-compliant VoIP Assistance Tower Phones are designed to provide quick and reliable hands-free communication for SIP VoIP phone systems with PoE. At the simple push of a button, the E-1600-ASTIPEWP initiates a call to emergency personnel and sends a digital announcement to identify the location of the call. At the same time, the tower phone’s bright LED strobe light begins flashing to deter further activity and make it easy for police or security to locate the site of the call. The E-1600-ASTIPEWP dials up to five rollover numbers and the E-1600AST2IPEWP two-button tower phone features a second INFO button that will dial up to five additional rollover numbers. Both tower phones can be programmed from any PC on the same LAN or remotely using a static IP address. The tower phones come equipped with enhanced weather protection for outdoor installations.
