Arteco Integrates SpeedFace+ Readers for Body Temperature & Face Mask Detection
ZKTeco’s SpeedFace access control reader models SF1005-V and SF1008 now have the option of an integrated thermal sensor which can detect a person’s body temperature within +/- 0.6 degrees Fahrenheit when standing within 18 inches, said the company. Body temperature detection is being used throughout the world to alert or prevent people with elevated body temperature from entering public venues including schools, restaurants, hospitals, health clubs, doctors’ offices, theaters and other locations.
ZKTeco SpeedFace readers include an embedded face and palm recognition sensor which provides touchless user authentication. Speedface readers can quickly and accurately identify a user’s face when standing within 2 feet and/or their palm is held within 15 inches of the reader. The readers can even recognize users’ faces while wearing masks for enhanced security and convenience.
