Honeywell Announces Key Enhancements to Video Surveillance Portfolio
Honeywell announced additions to its growing portfolio of video technology to help security professionals more easily design connected building systems. The company has added several devices to its line of equIP series cameras, designed to produce better picture quality in the most challenging of conditions. It also announced the newest version of its MAXPRO network video recorder (NVR), which improves operators’ abilities to quickly store and locate archived video, as well as more easily create integrated surveillance systems.
These additions are the latest enhancements to Honeywell’s overall portfolio of video technology designed to improve ease of use for operators, simplify installation for security professionals, and provide higher quality video to help protect facilities. The company also recently launched a line of HDZ cameras that provide high image quality in low-light applications in a vandal-resistant camera housing. The equIP and HDZ cameras and MAXPRO NVRs integrate with Honeywell and third-party ONVIF S products for a complete, fully integrated IP solution. In addition, MAXPRO NVR status monitor allows users to more easily check the status of their system.
