RS2 Technologies Announces Integration With Video Insight Software

RS2 Technologies LLC, a provider of access control systems, announced the integration of its Access It!® line of access control software with the video surveillance software of Video Insight Inc., a U.S.-based developer of enterprise-class IP video surveillance solutions that are focused on multi-campus facilities.

In making the announcement, RS2 director of dealer development, Dave Barnard, commented, “Our integration with Video Insight is somewhat unique in our long history of partnering with firms in the video surveillance market because, with Video Insight, we are integrating with software rather than with a line of cameras, DVRs, NVRs, etc. We like the fact that Video Insight, like RS2, updates its software frequently and provides great technical support to its customers.”

RS2 national sales manager, Gary Staley, added, “Additional similarities between our companies include the fact that Video Insight’s software is very user-friendly and also that they strive to offer customers the lowest possible TCO (total cost of ownership) with their products.”

Echoing Barnard’s and Staley’s comments was Video Insight chief executive officer Rob Shaw, who stated, “We are very excited about our relationship with RS2 Technologies. By integrating our live and recorded video with RS2’s Access It!® access control software, customers can take advantage of the robust features of both products.”
