Interlogix announced its TruPortal, which is an IP appliance-based solution, designed to deliver reliable, high-end technology installed quickly out of the box. The product is targeted for small to mid-sized commercial installations. TruPortal leverages a Web-based application requiring no additional server. The system also requires no specialized training and no additional software installation or licensing. In addition, TruPortal works with the TruVision line of video surveillance recorders and cameras for streamlined compatibility. The system also features a companion iPad application that allows users to remotely monitor system activity and perform basic administration.
