Alarm Detection Systems' CEO Stranded Near Antarctica

Bob Bonifas, CEO of Alarm Detection Systems, Aurora, Ill. (No. 23 on the SDM 100) is in the news today — but not for anything to do with security. Bonifas is a world traveler, having visited all seven continents. This morning, Fox News reported that Bonifas is stranded on cruise ship that suffered an engine failure near the Antarctic Peninsula. According to Fox Chicago News, he was enroute from Argentina to an island near the equator, and it is expected to be about six days before help arrives for Bonifas and other stranded passengers on the ship. http://www.myfoxchicago.com/dpp/news/metro/bob-bonifas-aurora-man-stranded-near-antarctica-20120416
