Edwards, part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security and a unit of United Technologies Corp., introduced its latest incident status software, Site Monitor, to the Vigilant dealer channel. Site Monitor is compatible with the VS Series fire alarm control panels. It captures, prioritizes and directs system events for up to 1,000 VS Series panels. Site Monitor can be configured to generate e-mail notifications to specific recipient groups, depending on the event. Two versions are available: a graphical version will display location by map or photo, which is ideal for larger complexes or campus facilities, and a text-based version, which offers a more cost-effective solution for less-complex installations.
