Becklar, Elite & Puget Win 2026 TMA/SDM Monitoring Center Excellence Awards
The Monitoring Association (TMA) announced the winners of the 2026 TMA/SDM Monitoring Center Excellence Awards, sponsored by SDM Magazine. The awards recognize outstanding monitoring centers and industry professionals who demonstrate exceptional performance, innovation, and service to customers, communities and the alarm monitoring industry. The awards were presented by SDM Editor in Chief Karyn Hodgson during an awards ceremony held May 12.
“Each year, these awards highlight the extraordinary professionals and monitoring centers that work tirelessly behind the scenes to protect lives and property,” said Whitney A. Doll, CEO, TMA. “This year’s winners demonstrate how innovation, operational excellence and dedication to service are shaping the future of monitoring.”
The TMA/SDM Monitoring Center Excellence Awards honor monitoring centers that are FM Approved, Intertek/ETL or UL-listed, along with professionals who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and contribute to advancing the monitoring profession.
A highlight of this year’s program is the introduction of a new category: Monitoring Center of the Year – GSOC (Global Security Operations Center). The category, presented for the first time in 2026, recognizes enterprise security operations centers that apply monitoring best practices, advanced technologies and highly trained personnel to protect large organizations and critical infrastructure.
Puget Sound Energy has been named the first-ever recipient of the GSOC Monitoring Center of the Year Award, recognizing the organization’s leadership in integrating monitoring technologies and operational excellence within its global security operations center.

- Small-to-Medium: Elite Interactive Solutions
- GSOC (New Category – Inaugural Award): Puget Sound Energy
Monitoring Center Manager of the Year: Galina Klimchuk, Vivint
