An expert in information security, intellectual property protection, security solution certifications and cyber-warfare will be the keynote speaker at the Security Industry Association's Corporate Security Roundtable (CSR) "Redefining SecurITy – Achieving a Balance", which is planned to be held Feb. 6-8, 2005, at the Omni Hotel, San Diego.
Keynoting will be Gregory Akers, senior vice president and chief technology officer for global government solutions and corporate strategic security programs at Cisco Systems Inc.
Akers will address the integration between physical and IT security systems and prepare customers for the next generation of networked physical security devices.
He has experience as the president of the IT-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) organization in 2002.
