Installer Training Program Approved for CEU Credits

The Certified Installer Training Program from Leviton Integrated Networks, Little Neck, N.Y., has been approved for 0.8 Continuing Education Credits by the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association’s National Training School. The approved modules include “structured wiring essentials,” and “structured wiring, planning, and installation” (CEU Course Number 03-1117).

Leviton’s instructors provide practical knowledge on the “do’s-and-don’ts” that can enhance the installer’s bottom line. The information includes everything from how to adhere to TIA/EIA standards to how to estimate a Leviton structured wiring system.

The full-day workshop, divided into a morning session (structured wiring essentials) and afternoon session (structured wiring planning and installation), includes textbook instruction, real-life scenarios and hands-on wire-up of a system.

More information about the training modules and a registration form are available at the Leviton web site at www.leviton.com/lin. Information can also be obtained on the NBFAA web site at www.alarm.org.
