STRIKE EASES INSTALLATION

Installation is made easier with effeff’s World Strike because no cut-outs are required, the company says. The strike, from ASSA ABLOY, replaces a standard mechanical plate so that no filing or sawing is necessary. The strikes are designed for heavy-duty and standard applications with the all-in-one 77-54 offering dual voltage and field-selectable, fail-safe operation. A deep latch cavity accommodates cylindrical locksets with a 5/8 in. to 3/4 in. throw in metal, wood or aluminum frames. All World Strikes come with a stainless steel faceplate, have fire certification and are UL tested. Compatible with all major cylindrical locks, the strikes can be supplied with an adjustable keeper and monitoring as optional extras and are tested to grades 1, 2 and 3 certifications. ASSA ABLOY
