Tri-Ed Ends the Year with a Boom
Tri-Ed Distribution, Woodbury, N.Y., gathered regional and branch managers, corporate staff, and credit, operations and purchasing managers for its annual national sales meeting. More than 70 Tri-Ed associates took part in the team-building event, held at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa in California, December 1-5.
Highlights included an opening kickoff welcome from Steve Roth, president of Tri-Ed, and Pat Comunale, COO. The meeting got off to a booming start, literally, as almost 100 band members from the Napa Valley High School marched in, playing some rock and roll favorites.
Motivational speaker Greg Baron shared his insights on effective sales and marketing techniques. The five-day meeting encompassed sales training, regional breakouts, a vendor night featuring tabletop displays and new product training, and culminated with an awards dinner. The company’s Kent, Wash., branch was honored as the Branch of the Year/President’s Cup Winner.
