UltraGuard Wins Product Innovation Award

Geoffrey Winters, president and CEO of Electronic Control Systems, LLC/UltraGuard, Norwalk, Conn., accepts the 2005 Product Innovation for Consumer Safety Award from Meri-K Appy, president of the Home Safety Council, at the council’s safety awards dinner in Washington, D.C. “This important recognition of our life safety products comes on top of UltraGuard’s winning the Judges’ Choice and Product Achievement awards at the ISC Expo West in Las Vegas earlier this year,” declared Winters. “All of Washington, D.C., seems to recognize the need for legislative action on this front.” ECS develops, manufactures and markets proactive carbon monoxide safety systems and detectors under the brand name UltraGuard.
