Women in Security Launch Revamped Web Site

Women in Security Electronics (WISE) has been hard at work since April revamping its Web site www. womeninsecurityelectronics.com to accommodate members and provide an online meeting place for all industry professionals.

With the support of its sponsors, WISE put together this project in an effort to better support the outpouring of requests from the field for mentoring, networking and an easily accessible member directory.

The Web site offers a new design with the new WISE logo and several other links including a discussion forum, event links and a job bank.

“Another important feature of the new Web site is the women-owned business directory,” noted Jennifer Walzac, WISE membership chair. “Having a publicly accessible directory of these businesses is not only valuable to the business owners, but it provides value to the industry as a whole.”

Added Joy Creasy, PSP, WISE communications committee chair, “We’re very excited about the new Web site. Security is already such an e-powered industry, it only seemed natural to e-power ourselves. The most exciting part of the Web site is the new discussion forum, a meeting place where men and women in the organization will mentor each other, discuss industry issues and build an even stronger network.”

WISE greatly appreciates the support and assistance that its Web construction company, Mochanin LLC, continues to provide. Information about Mochanin can be found at www.mochanin.com or through a link on the WISE Web site.

WISE is focused on assisting women by providing professional development, mentoring, networking and greater industry exposure. WISE encourages the development and training of higher-caliber, talented women from which industry companies can hire and recognizes companies that are successfully promoting women.
