Alan Forman, president of Altronix, will be presented with the inaugural Mission 500 Humanitarian Award during a special cocktail reception, to be held March 25 during ISC West.

“Alan is well worthy of this honor,” said George Fletcher, Advisory Council member and volunteer for Mission 500. “He has given of himself in a number of charitable causes by committing his time, rallying others to get involved, generating financial contributions and making everyone around him feel special.”

The Mission 500 Humanitarian Award honors individuals in the security industry who make important contributions to those in need. According to Mission 500, Forman is involved with numerous charitable organizations, and he serves on the advisory boards of Gift of Life International and Mission 500. He also serves as the New York Metro chapter president for the American Technion Society. Forman received the George Lippert Memorial Award in 2009 for his commitment to professionalism and advancement of the professional security industry.

The cocktail reception will be held at 5:15 p.m., in room 303 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. Personal invitations will be available at the Mission 500 booth, located at the main entrance to the expo hall.
