The VM-417 from Difinitron is a hand-held CCTV diagnostic tool that can process composite video signals. Once the signal has been processed the VM-417 separates and measures the amplitude of the various components in the video signal. The amplitude of these components are measured and displayed in IRE units on an LCD screen. The video signal standard is 140 IRE (1 Vp-p). The VM-417 will allow an installer to cycle through each of the components to determine that all the levels of video signal are correct, and the integrity of the 1 Vp-p signal has been maintained. This handheld device reduces camera installation time allowing the installer to analyze and troubleshoot video systems remotely. Difinitron Inc.
