2010 Vend-O-Palooza Opens with Events in California, Arizona and Florida

Vend-O-Palooza, AVAD LLC’s series of one-day traveling trade shows, returns in 2010 in cities across the United States and Canada. The first event will be held Jan. 14 at the AVAD branch office in San Diego, Calif.

“Vend-O-Palooza gives dealers an opportunity to meet directly with the manufacturers of the products they depend on,” said Jim Annes, vice president and general manager of AVAD. “They can come to the event, ask specific questions, demo products and gain a better understanding of how each manufacturer can serve their unique needs.

“At the same time, manufacturers benefit from meeting face-to-face with dealers, which helps them evaluate how to better address those needs,” Annes added.

Each Vend-O-Palooza event offers area dealers numerous opportunities to network, view, demo and purchase new products and learn about new technologies during workshops and training sessions. SDM’s Heather Klotz attended the final Vend-O-Palooza event of 2009 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in November; read about her experience here.

Following the San Diego event, Vend-O-Palooza shows are scheduled for Jan. 28 in Scottsdale, Ariz.; Feb. 11 in Irvine, Calif.; Feb. 25 in Tampa, Fla.; March 11 in Van Nuys, Calif.; and March 25 in Livermore, Calif. All events are held at AVAD branch offices in these cities. More events are expected to be added throughout the year.
