Authentication Software is FIPS 201-Approved
Tri-Ed / Northern Video Distribution, Codebench Inc., a provider of TWIC / HSPD-12 / FIPS-201 authentication software, announced that its OMNICheck® Plus software was approved as a Card Authentication Key System for mobile devices by the GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program.
OMNICheck is a mobile validation software application that verifies PIV, TWIC, FRAC, CAC and DESFire credentials over the reader’s contact or contactless interface. By integrating with a physical access control database, OMNICheck Plus provides security managers with a low-cost mobile reader that controls access to controlled, limited, and exclusion areas as defined by NIST Special Publication 800-116.
The OMNICheck products are available on several mobile biometric terminals, including the Cross Match BE.U Mobile, DAP CE3240B, Edgeline CN3/CN4 PIV, MaxID iDL500, Psion Teklogix (Sagem) MC200, and Motorola MC75 (Sagem).
