ADI Announces Partnership; Offers Training Course

ADI, Melville, N.Y., has partnered with Bandit Solutions, a manufacturer and supplier of fog generators, to offer dealers fog security solutions such as the Bandit 240 PB, which ejects a harmless, dense fog at 1,000 cubic feet per second that blocks a would-be burglar’s vision.

ADI also announced a partnership to offer in-depth networking training to technicians and dealers at the local level. Training participants will benefit from curriculum developed by Slayton Solutions Ltd. These courses are sponsored by the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) National Training School and provide continuing education credits.

Networking 101 for Technicians is a one-day interactive course that provides alarm integration technicians in-depth training in the basics of networking, IP addressing, firewall issues, cabling options, and connection of networked security devices onto LANs and the Internet.

All training classes will be held at local ADI branches. A 40-city tour is planned for 2007. For more information on the Networking 101 classes visit, www.alarm.org/ profdev/courses/network_adi.htm.
