Altronix NetWay Mid-Span PoE products listed by UL

The NetWay Mid-Span PoE product line from Altronix is now UL listed. The NetWay Mid-Span PoE products are designed for standard network infrastructure and can accommodate PoE and conventional IP video cameras, as well as edge devices.

The NetWay8 midspan provides eight PoE-compliant ports rated at 15.4W maximum (compliant with IEEE 802.3af). Two of the ports are selectable for 30W to accommodate higher-current IP PTZs. Easy plug-and-play installation enables safe and cost-effective power distribution over Cat5/5E/6 LAN infrastructures.

The NetWay16 midspan provides 16 PoE-compliant ports rated at 15.4W maximum (compliant with IEEE 802.3af). Four of the ports are selectable for 30W to accommodate higher-current IP PTZs.

Additional NetWay devices include the NetWay1 midspan injector with a single PoE-compliant port and PoE shutdown option. The NetWayXT repeater extends Ethernet range an additional 100 m (328 feet). The NetWay1512 adapter enables compatibility with non-PoE compliant cameras, and the NetWay3012 adapter supplies 30W to accommodate high-current IP devices including PTZs.
