ASG Security Expo Focuses on Integration of IT, Physical Security

More than 250 people attended the fifth annual ASG Security Expo, hosted on November 10 at Seattle’s Safeco Field by security solutions integrator ASG, Seattle. This year’s event focused on integrating IT and physical security into comprehensive security solutions.

The theme of this year’s ASG Expo was “Security in a Converging World.” Participants engaged with expert industry speakers – who represented risk management, security benchmarking and consulting, as well as technology – providing perspectives on organizational, technological, and industry-specific convergence issues. Between presentations, participants talked directly with leading product companies throughout the all-day trade show, which featured the latest security products and solutions including access control, CCTV and intelligent video and alarm intrusion.

“This is an incredible forum for anyone interested in understanding and leading change in security,” said Patrick Donaldson, a security consultant with MetsgerForbes. “The ASG Expo focuses as much on the interrelationships within the security market as it does on vendor and integrator relationships with security clients, providing a very sharp tool to cut through the hype and move to important issues of value, change and change management.”
