Automation controller has built-in Ethernet connectivity



Home Automation Inc. has upgraded its Omni II home automation controller to the Omni IIe. It has all the functions and capabilities of the Omni II, such as UL-listed security, telephone access, temperature and lighting control, as well as built-in Ethernet connectivity and three built-in serial ports. No serial cable is needed. A Powerline Interface Module (PIM) is included for HAI’s UPB-based lighting control system. This plugs into the third built-in serial port without requiring port expanders. The IIe also has an expanded vocabulary. Home Automation Inc.
